I've created a lot of anchored objects that I use all the time, which I store in a special library. You just position your text cursor where you want the object (usually a picture box or some specially formatted text in a frame), right click on the library item and "Place Item" is available from the context menu. But does anybody know WHY it is, that if you need to make a change to an item and select it (while it's anchored in text) and then select "Update Library Item" from the context menu, that item is thereafter no longer available to be inserted into text? You can still place it if you have the Select cursor enabled, but not the text cursor. The only way I've found to update anchored objects in my library is to delete the library item, make any changes I needed to make, then select the object and click "Add Item" from the drop-down menu in the upper right hand corner of the library's palette. Then give it the same name the recently deleted version had.
