Bridge color settings (was Re: Testing - is ID Talk working?)
(Mac CS3) I just did the same thing in Bridge: Edit/Creative Suite Color Settings to change from "North American General Purpose 2," which does not activate profile warnings, to "North American Prepress 2," which enables profile warnings. (Had to do that to adhere to the requirements for a job.)
The profile discrepancy in my case is that I use "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" and NAP2 uses "Adobe RGB (1998)." It seems like a flaw—at least to me— that once you've told InDesign to accept the existing settings you still have to click through the warning each time you open a file. Once that job has gone to press, I'll change back to North American General Purpose 2 and won't have to click through the warnings.
Does anyone know how to create a new color setting?
