Dumb stupid obsolete plugin prevents Packaging...
With CS2 InDesign I used inEffects, InModify and other useful plug-ins. With ID CS4, I don't need them and can't install them (if I recall correctly). AFAIK, they are completely obsolete everywhere in CS4land except in the File > Package procedure. There they are like sniper assassins who let me go through the Package procedure and then ambush me with the conclusion that packaging cannot proceed without the InEffects plugin. Since the InEffects plugin can't "proceed," I'm stymied.
At least, that's what I think. If I'm wrong, it'd be great to hear about it.
PERHAPS saving to inx format and reopening MIGHT get past that. But since there are multiple legacy files I don't know if that's a workable technique or not.
