I have a license for Fontographer 4.0 / Win, which entitles me to an
upgrade to 5.0 for $200, less 20% academic discount. But $160 is still
pretty pricey on my budget. I also have FontForge, of course, since it
is open source and free. I have never tried Fontlab. My font editing
needs are minimal.

I am hoping there are people here who are familiar with all three and
can give a comparison, even if opinionated. Or maybe someone knows of a
comparative review of all three programs. TIA
