I need two versions of a maths book. One with exercises and another one, the same, but with the solutions.
I have Illustrator imports, with layers. Some of these layers are "hidden" in one version and not in the other one.
The problem I have, is that sometimes, InDesign doesn't care if the layers are hidden or not, this, when I make some changes in the Illustrator file. This happens sometimes, when I alt-clic (Mac) on the graph in InDesign to open the file in Illustrator, and have to do some layer changes.
Normally, when back to InDesign, the illustrations refreshes automatically, but in some cases, it doesn't and changes will apply only if I reimport the graph.
Is there another trick to force the refresh ?
