My church has found an image of a goldfish outgrowing its fishbowl that they like. Makes a good icon. Colorful. Humorous. Good body language for the fish. Excellent eye expression.
It's a Getty Image. It's not cheap. Two hundred bucks, for the 10mb size.
I did Live Chat at the Getty site. One of my questions was if they could assure me that the quality of the image meets normal pro standards.
We went round and round but he offered no such assurance, and we said good bye.
Can anyone speak well or ill of Getty Images?
I think of them as an established name, but established names are sometimes bought by less-respected outfits.
Chuck M who offers thanks for the comments on monitors and the huey. And, yes, iStockphoto has a similar and much cheaper big goldfish in small bowl pic but that fish's body language & expression are judged less endearing. -- This list is a free service of LassoSoft: http://www.LassoSoft.com/ Search the list archives: http://www.ListSearch.com/InDesign/Browse/ Manage your subscription: http://www.ListSearch.com/InDesign/
