Big project, 500+ image files (music generated as .eps files) placed in InD CS, being developed somewhat intuitively as a curriculum.
This sometimes means shuffling material around (as in a file card index).
Each music image (.eps) has 2 (text) frames above associated (one flush left = title & one flush right = source). I have grouped the two associated text frames with the .eps image so that moving them around in the document keeps them intact.
So, for example: Name (text) Origin (text) Filename.eps (placed)
I need to include some extra data with each group (the actual source of the data) to keep track of where they actually came from (the original printed source) for my own archival purposes but not for printing.
I thought of an extra text frame on a different layer (made invisible). But if you group it with the others the whole group becomes invisible.
Question: Is there a better way to put metadata with the placed .eps images that will not be printed but allow me to source the material accurately and revisit it when required?
