OSX CS4 - broken links - volume names
OSX 10.5.8, CS4 - I run into broken InDesign links again and again. According to InDesign it is a lack of obviously mixed-up server volume names: They appear to get mounted multiple, with additional numbers, like: "volumename", "volumename-1", volumename-2" etc.
Actually each of the volume names in our network is unique indeed. So, where do the weird "-1" etc come from, that make InDesign missing links from one to the other day?
Two screenshots of a mac clients volume view (350 kb): http://osk.powercontrolcenter.de/getFile.php?id=82eca152
Any occurence of "Â<number>" in this screenshots volume names has no real corresponding volume, excluded the version without/before "-<number>" only. For instance: "ARCHIV" is an existing volume name, whereas "ARCHIV-1" or "Archiv-1" does not exist.
Any hints to solve this issue?
Thank you, - thomas
