Is there anyone here that knows a lot about Acrobat scripting?
This is a continuation of my Zooming Hyperlinks issue with InDesign. I have opened up the resulting PDF files in Acrobat, one exported from Pagemaker and another from InDesign, in an attempt to see what the difference is between the links. I think I have found it.
In the Actions window for each link in the InDesign PDF it just goes straight to the destination point. In the Pagemaker PDF it uses a method as if you had set "Go To A Page View", changed the zoom setting while positioning the screen at the destination, and then hitting "Set Link".
Is there any way to write a script that runs through all of the links in Acrobat and changes them like this? I doubt that there is anything like this in InDesign, even though it would be preferable. I realize that if it's too complicated I may have to pay for it, but I wouldn't know where to go for this.
