Not yet, but our company has started creating iPhone Apps for some customers (I keep asking my clients about it and there's zero interest w/ them).
One of the more striking things which I'd like to see more information on is GQ magazine making iPhone Apps of their November and December issues and selling them for $2.99 (or some such) --- how did they manage to get them approved quickly enough to be timely? Will the number of purchasers double again in January? (from ~7,000 to ~14,000 for November and December) --- how does the number of iPhone / iPod Touch users compare to their subscription figures and how many people buying the apps are subscribers?
Apple is using ePub for the ebooks on the iPad which is fine, but also limiting --- how would one make an ebook like to
Or Myst (which was mocked up in HyperCard and preceded by _The Manhole_)....
Can Pages.app make an epub?
Will there be a version of AppleScript for the iPad?
Where does the iPad fit in a vision of ``computers as bicycles for the mind''?
