Just wanted to check if this is a problem with the file or if it's just how it is when placing an IDCS3 file within another ID file. I have an application that will be used identically across many files. It's 2 color (black and PMS) The reasoning being that if I need to change the application all linked files will automatically be updated to the corrections.
I place the Application InDesign file in my current form and suddenly I'm getting blank Cyan Magenta and Yellow plates.
I delete the Application InDesign file and the extra plates go away.
Seps of the the Application ID file come out fine, just 2 color.
I place the App file in a blank document and still get the extra plates.
I hate to knock this off and have more files that have this happening if I can fix it.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thank you! Rosie
