you can also simply restart with the shift key down (safe boot) then reboot again; this will clear the OS font cache
if the fonts cause trouble only with Adobe apps, then there are several ways to deal with that (not so simple), and you probably don't need to slow your system down and go to the trouble of rebooting
i would respect Font Nuke more if it had a quick questionnaire that helped you pin down which caches to clear, and did only what was needed; this business of zapping every cache is a troglodyte approach, imo; caches are there for a reason, and an educated guess of which causes the trouble (OS caches vs. Adobe caches vs. Quark caches) can save you time
