InDesign can natively convert QuarkXPress 4.x documents. To convert QuarkXPress 5.x or later documents you'll need the Markzware Q2ID plugin ($199). From my experience, Q2ID pays for itself immediately with the time saved. Note that the conversion isn't always 100%, but it's very good (and Markzware is always interested in files that aren't converting properly so they can improve their software).
