Soon I will be graced with a 200+ page document to format and convert to an interactive PDF that should include hyperlinks and perhaps even " “rollover bubblesâ€, a feature that allows you to roll the mouse over part of the content and shows you a bubble with additional materials you can click on."
I know I can do button rollovers using images, but is there a text-based version of these so-called bubbles in CS3? Or 4 or 5?
I don't suppose in any version of InDesign I could just highlight some text, tag it as a rollover, then insert bubble text when prompted? Is that too good to be true?
I'll take all the info I can get -- I'll be working on a very tight deadline and they're asking for a rough time frame (that must end with a June 30 deliverable). But I've no idea how long adding hyperlinks and bubbles will take, how many will be required, or if the bubbles (tool tips?) are even doable!
Thanks. Marcia
