What does "Ignore All" in the spelling checker do? ID, like FrameMaker, only substitutes ligatures for "fi" and "fl". I like to use the others as well, for "ffi", "ff" and "ffl", from the corresponding Expert font. But this causes problems with the spelling checker, e.g., it sees "effect" as "eVect". When the first occurrence gets highlighted I click "Ignore All" but it makes no difference -- the Checker stops at all subsequent occurrences as well. Same with every other word where "ffi", "ff" or "ffl" got replaced.
