Although I renamed word text. paragraphs styles to match my idd styles and then in idd apply character style None to my paragraphs I still have to hit command option paragraph style in style palette to make the idd paragraph style work right.

If I strip the word text would I be able to apply my idd styles by shortcut keys and not have to hit command option paragraph-style in the paragraph style panel?
